REQUIREMENTS
Successful Miracle-Ear Hearing Consultants have at least two years of consultative sales experience. They come from a wide range of backgrounds including:
- Real Estate/Mortgage
- Life and Health Insurance
- Home Improvement/Interior Design
- Advertising Sales
- DME Sales
- Hotel and Restaurant Management
- Travel Agent
- Telemarketing
- Healthcare and Fitness Sales
And many more.
BACKGROUND
Miracle-Ear Hearing Consultants recieve all the training necessary to earn a license to fit and dispense hearing aids by the State of New Mexico.
State Licensing Laws require:
LICENSING
- Age 18 or over
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- A qualified Sponsor (provided)
- Passing the jurisprudence examination with a grade of no less than 70% (training provided)
- 320 hours of intensive hands-on training within 3 months (provided)
- 5 months of continued supervision (provided)
- Pass the written and practical examination given by the State Board (training provided)
The average Hearing Aid Consultant:
- Makes more than $65,000 annually
- Works less than 40 hours per week
- Enjoys respect as a fully qualified member of the healthcare community
